Cyndil Duckworth received the Altrusa Betty Johnstone Scholarship while pursuing a certification as an Automotive Service Technician to help cover the cost of tools equipment that she needed for employment.

“I knew nothing of automotive when I started, but after the course I was knowledgeable and confident enough to begin working as an Express Tech at Coggin Honda Of St. Augustine,” she said. “I am so blessed and have enjoyed my journey. I am grateful to FCTC and the scholarships I received.”
