Class of 2021 Honor Graduate Grace Byrd delivers a heartfelt message to her fellow graduates for their Virtual Graduation on Friday, June 18th at 5 PM.

In her speech, Grace expresses her gratitude to those who assisted with her journey and added “I would also like to thank Nadia Garnett who is a board member on the FCTC Education Foundation. I had the honor of receiving a wonderful Mary Garnett scholarship in honor of her mother and without it would not have completed school. Working two jobs and being a full-time student during a pandemic is definitely as difficult as it sounds. This scholarship alleviated so much stress and allowed me to continue my education without worry, so thank you to the Garnett family once again.”
